NEWARK, N.J. – A 4-year-old girl was shot in the lower torso by suspects who fled in a stolen car, Newark police said.
Police located a silver Audi they say was used as the getaway car. It was found abandoned a short time after the shooting, which occurred shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday.
Three suspects remain at large.
The child was rushed to a hospital.
Her condition was not immediately known.
