A quick trip around Hannity's America...

Joker Unmasked

One of the biggest political mysteries of the year has been solved! The Los Angeles Times has uncovered the person behind this controversial portrait of President Barack Obama.

The poster, which depicts the president as the infamous "Batman" villain, was the handiwork of a college student named Firas Alkhateeb, who happens to be from the president's hometown of Chicago.

And by the way, he's no fan of the president. He told the Los Angeles Times, "After he was elected, you had all of these people who basically saw him as the second coming of Christ. From my perspective, there wasn't much substance to him."

Guess who the Chicago native supported in the last election? Ohio Congressman Dennis Kucinich.

I Know Better!

Democrats claimed that their health care will serve the interest of the American people, but one Democratic congressman doesn't seem very interested in what his constituents actually think.

New York Representative Eric Massa told reporters that he will support a single-payer health care bill even if that means voting against the interests of his district. You have got to see this to believe it:

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CONGRESSMAN ERIC MASSA, D-N.Y.: I will vote for the single-payer bill.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Even if it meant you're being —

MASSA: Listen. I will adamantly vote against —

(CROSSTALK)

MASSA: I will vote adamantly against the interests of my district if I actually think what I'm doing is going to help them.

(CROSSTALK)

MASSA: I will vote against their opinion if I actually believe it will help.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

Isn't it funny how Democrats always seem to know what's better for you than you do?

Crisis in California

Last week we traveled to the valley that hope forgot to put the spotlight on the water shortage that's facing California's San Joaquin Valley, and it appears that our special live report on the situation there has caught the attention of the Obama administration.

CBS 47 of California reports that just one day after our show aired, Deputy Secretary of the Interior David Hayes held a public meeting and said, "California's Delta is as important a national resource as the Everglades or the Great Lakes or the Chesapeake Bay."

It's also been announced that additional meetings will be held next month in Washington to discuss this issue. We're going to continue to keep a close eye on this crisis in the days and weeks ahead.

Enraging Russia?

Our Great Moment in Liberal Foreign Policy is brought to you by the anointed one, Barack Obama himself.

At a time when the U.S. needs Russia's cooperation in world affairs, especially to help curtail Iran's nuclear weapons program, the president may have damaged that alliance.

Russia's rocky relations with neighboring country Georgia is no secret. Nonetheless, the president accepted Georgia's offer to send 750 troops to Afghanistan, a move likely to enrage Russia and jeopardize its willingness to cooperate with the U.S. on major issues.

According to Les Gelb, a former official in the Department of Defense, "This will surely retard Obama administration efforts to reset ties with Russia to allow for cooperation on key issues like Iran... But what's truly troubling about this story is what it reveals once again about President Obama's misunderstanding of strategy and priorities, or at the very least, his lack of appreciation for exactly what it takes to accomplish big priorities."

Now I thought President Obama had that sophisticated touch that we needed to restore our relations with the rest of the world.

Mark that, folks, as another broken promise.

Minnesota Passes Judgment

He's only been in the Senate six weeks, but Al Franken has already managed to make a bad impression on his fellow Minnesotans.

In recent survey, 43 percent said that they approve of the job that he's doing while 45 percent said they do not. That's a net approval rating of negative 2 percent.

Great work, Al. I can only imagine as Minnesota gets to know you better, that number will sink further into the red.
