Authorities say the driver of a stolen pickup truck fleeing from police has died in a fiery crash after colliding with a minivan and hitting another truck before striking a utility pole and bursting into flames.

Michigan State Police Trooper John Gora says the two other drivers suffered minor injuries in the Thursday morning crash in Detroit.

Police have not determined the identity of the driver who died. Gora did not release the names of the two injured.

Television stations WJBK and WDIV aired the chase. The video shows a minivan striking the truck, then the pickup flipped over and hit another truck and a utility pole. The truck exploded and flames blackened the road and nearby sidewalk.

Authorities say police chased the truck after it was stolen in suburban Taylor.
