A small study by Israeli researchers found that too much hair-combing may lead to balding, Agence France-Presse reports.
The study recorded the combing habits of 14 women and found that those who combed their hair most were more prone to hair loss.

"The women who combed twice a day lost three times more hair than those who combed once a day," the head of the study, Alexander Kirdman of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, was quoted as saying.
The study was published in the Journal of Dermatological Treatment.
