Parking Garage Deck Collapses Outside Atlanta, No Reported Injuries

ALPHARETTA, Ga. – A portion of a parking deck at a medical facility near Atlanta collapsed Tuesday.

Alpharetta police spokesman George Gordon said there were no initial reports of injuries or fatalities.

The collapse happened shortly before 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Gordon was en route to the building at 3400 Old Milton Parkway in Alpharetta, about 26 miles north of Atlanta, and said he had very few details.
