Michael Jackson's personal physician admitted to authorities that he administered the powerful sedative that experts believe killed the pop star, a law enforcement official told FOXNews.com
The official told FOXNews.com that Dr.Conrad Murray said he gave Jackson propofol shortly after midnight on June 25, the day of the King of Pop's death. Murray said he had administered the drug several times previously to help Jackson sleep.

The official said police found propofol and various sedatives in a walk-in closet in Jackson's room. Propofol is only supposed to be administered in medical settings.
Murray's lawyer has said the doctor didn't prescribe or administer anything that should have killed Jackson.
