The astronauts aboard the shuttle-station complex are busy with robotic work high above Earth.

They used Endeavour's robot arm to lift a platform loaded with space station parts out of the shuttle Sunday morning. The next step was to hand the carrier off to the space station arm, then anchor it to the orbiting outpost. The 13-by-8-foot platform holds batteries that will be installed later in the week. Also stored on the carrier are an antenna, pump and drive system for the station's rail car.

NASA wants to store as many big spare parts as possible at the space station, before shuttles stop flying at the end of next year.

Sunday was a day off between spacewalks and, as a result, fairly relaxing for the 13 astronauts.
