Parents are mourning the loss of their 4-month-old child who died after suffering cardiac arrest at a Tulsa, Okla. home daycare, kjrh.com reported Thursday.

"There's nothing right now that appears to be out of the normal but medical examiner's office would have to make the determination as to the cause of death," Tulsa Police officer, Leland Ashley told the news station.

A daycare worker checked on the infant who was sleeping in a crib around 10 a.m. Thursday morning, officials said.

But when the worker returned to the room an hour later, the child was unresponsive, apparently suffering cardiac arrest, kjrh.com reported.

Police are awaiting autopsy results to determine the exact cause of death and help the investigation.
