Authorities found what they believe is the body of a man who disappeared after a boating accident in Lake St. Clair.

The U.S. Coast Guard and Macomb County sheriff's department were searching for the man who disappeared after two powerboats collided about 1:30 a.m. Sunday. WWJ-AM says divers found the body, which is being taken for identification.

The sheriff's department says seven people were on the boats that collided near St. Clair Shores. Rescuers saved six people, and four were taken to St. John Hospital in Detroit.

The missing man is a 28-year-old Chesterfield Township resident. He wasn't wearing a life preserver, and drinking is suspected as a factor in the crash.
