The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum was dedicated in 1993.

More than 30 million people have visited the museum.

The Holocaust Museum cost approximately $168 million to build - $90 million for the building's construction and $78 million for the exhibits.

The Museum is 161 feet wide, 312 feet long, 91 feet tall, and 265,000 square feet in size. Within that, the Permanent Exhibition occupies 36,000 square feet on three floors.

88 heads of state and more than 3,500 foreign officials from over 132 countries have visited the museum.
