(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DAVID DEVORE SR., FATHER: How did it go?

DAVID DEVORE JR., SON: I didn't feel anything.

DEVORE SR.: Yes.

DEVORE JR.: Uh, I feel funny.

DEVORE SR.: It kind of feels good, doesn't it?

DEVORE JR.: Is this real life?

DEVORE SR.: Yes, this is real life.

DEVORE JR.: OK. Now — now I — I have two fingers.

DEVORE SR.: You feel good?

DEVORE JR.: I can't see anything.

DEVORE SR.: Yes, you can. Stay in your seat.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

O'REILLY: Joining us now from New York City, David Devore, the father of the now 8-year-old boy. So Mr. Devore, you can understand why some people think that's exploiting the child, not good for him, can't you?

DEVORE SR.: Absolutely. I understand. As a dedicated parent, I appreciate the concern. But I can assure you David was well taken care of after the procedure, and he's doing great now.

O'REILLY: OK, but you know, for the rest of his life, this is going to be on tape. And that's what I always say to people. Be careful what you do with tape because of the Internet. You know, would you have done it again? Would you do this again after knowing what you know now?

DEVORE SR.: Absolutely. Like I said, it's been a very — it's been a very positive experience for our family.

O'REILLY: Why is it positive? What's positive about it?

DEVORE SR.: We have used it to — I mean, people's reaction has been a very positive, except for a few, which we understand. But...

O'REILLY: But what's the positive? Tell me what the positive is. You've got a woozy kid. What's the positive?

DEVORE SR.: Well, because it is an innocent — the reality is, is it's an innocent exchange between a father and a son after a dentist appointment. People have really identified with the quotes that he says in the video: "Is this real life? Why is this happening to me?" And you know, many of the people that have been positive with us have been parents and have been in similar situations.

O'REILLY: All right. Look, I would never do this to my kids. I think it's a little exploitative. I don't want voyeurism in my family. I disagree with you, but you know, I don't think you're a bad guy, and the fact that you'd come in and make your case, and we're going to let the audience decide on it.

DEVORE SR.: I understand that. It's — what made me upset was to compare us to the lady that was blowing pot smoke in her baby's face on MySpace.

O'REILLY: OK, you know, I feel a little queasy about it. I appreciate you coming on.

DEVORE SR.: I appreciate — I appreciate your concern.
