Three people were hospitalized in Florida after a sheriff's deputy fired at an SUV during a traffic stop, MyFOXOrlando.com reported.
The deputy tried to stop a driver near the intersection of Ivey Lane and Hupple Avenue, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office told MyFOXOrlando. Investigators have not said whether the deputy chased the SUV, but the shots were fired about a mile from where he tried to stop the vehicle.
After the shooting, the SUV crashed into a water-filled ditch near a middle school, MyFOXOrlando.com reported.
The injured occupants of the SUV are all men in their 20s. The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.
