A Texas special education teacher was arrested for allegedly pistol-whipping a 16-year-old boy, who posted the video on YouTube in hopes the police would be alerted, the Houston Chronicle reported.
Surveillance video shows Cashin Clay, 53, a teacher with the Houston Independent School District, allegedly going into the teen's room and hitting him with the barrel and butt of a pistol, the newspaper reported.
The teen lived with Clay, according to Harris County District Attorney spokeswoman Donna Hawkins — who didn't say what the relationship was between the two.
The teen's name wasn't released. The video was removed from YouTube.
Clay was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and is free on $30,000 bail, according to the newspaper.
