Colorado Man Coughs Up Nail Stuck in Nose 30 Years

A Colorado man went to the doctor’s office expecting a routine MRI, but ended up leaving with the nail that had been stuck in his nose for possibly 30 years, KKTV.com reported.

Prax Sanchez literally coughed up the piece of metal, which he didn’t realize was in his nasal cavity.

“I never had any idea there was metal in my face,” Sanchez told the TV station. “When I went to lie down on the MRI machine, I had a real pain on my right side under my eye.”

That is when Sanchez coughed up the nail, which was over an inch-long.

Sanchez’s doctor said he will be fine.
