Hey guys, you know the drill—your wife or girlfriend drags you to the mall (you'd rather be getting a root canal than have to go there) where you try on jean after jean.

You've become so sick of the loud techno music and snotty salesgirl, that you leave the store exactly how you started—sans denim. Well we’re here to make shopping for jeans a whole lot easier. It’s simply a matter of knowing what you want and where to find it without stepping foot in a mall. Whether it's a day of chilling out on the couch or going out to the bar with the guys, these Web sites make shopping for any style of jeans simple.

Best Relaxed Fit

If you’re looking for a fit that’s classic, comfortable and perfect for lounging around on the weekends, try jcrew.com. They offer a relaxed-fit in a vintage wash that is already hand-distressed. The medium blue color is also very popular with most guys. Not too light or too dark, this broken in style is our pick because you don't have to wear it or wash it a dozen times to look great.

Another great broken in style can be found at bananarepublic.com. Their relaxed medium-wash jean is 100% cotton and sits right below your hip. This classic cut works best if you're looking for a style you can count on to feel comfortable and look great.

Our Favorite Dressier Denim

For a more formal fit for nights out on the town, try Gap’s low rise straight fit jeans in steel black. This dark washed style has no rips or tears and is a more tailored fit. It also has minimal details which makes it not only club friendly but business appropriate as well.

If you’re looking for a jean that’s a bit more stylized try Lucky Brand’s slim bootleg jeans. They are slimmer at the waist and tapered at the leg, staying true to the boot cut name. This style looks great with a dress shoe and a button-down, so it’s perfect for those casual Fridays at the office.

# 1 Hipster Styles

Looking for a pair that’s a bit trendier? Try Diesel’s Darron jean. It has a slim leg, almost a skinny, but no worries; it has plenty of room at the waistline. This pair will look great with your favorite band tee and sneakers!

If the skinny is not your style, but you still want to sport a trendy look...try a ripped jean with a wider leg. True Religion’s Adam Hertiage Super T-Wasteland jean is a bootleg with a defining cut and looks great with your converse and hoodie.

If you have absolutely no clue, check out these sites with tons of options!

More From the Online Jean Scene

When it comes to denim Web sites, not all are created equal. Aside from our favorite go-to's mentioned above, these are a few more "Style Guide approved" sites to search.

One of our favorites by far is the jeans shop for men at nordstrom.com. This site is great because you can shop based on your fit criteria from classic, to slim cut, bootleg to straight leg. In addition, you can shop by brand. So if your girlfriend told you to stick to Rock and Republic, you can simply click over and find every style the brand has to offer. On the other hand, if you're not looking to spend a fortune on jeans, you can shop based on price as well. Overall, this website is great whether you know exactly what you want or are still unsure.

Another fabulous online shop is the men’s jean section at revolveclothing.com. This site is awesome because it has incredible variety. With over 60 brands of jeans to choose from it's basically impossible not to find a pair that works for you. Like nordstrom.com, the site offers several search categories to narrow down your options. These include— fit, wash, rise and detail. So if you’re looking for a very specific pair of jeans this is a great site to check out.

Make sure to check out these sites when you're looking for that perfect pair of jeans. For more men’s style advice, check out our new section, The Guy Guide.
