A Pennsylvania man who pulled a gun on a cop is blaming the police for ruining his plans to rob a convenience store, then wait at a strip club to be arrested.
During a field sobriety test Stephen Garger allegedly pulled out a loaded .38-caliber gun from his waistband, cocked the hammer and put his hand on the trigger, The Morning Call reported.
The 34-year-old man then told Det. Robert Hawke during the stop in Lehigh, Pa., "You ruined my plans," according to the newspaper.
After a brief standoff, Garger threw his gun onto the road, police said.
He was charged with attempted homicide, drunken driving, assault, carrying a weapon without a license and numerous other offenses, according to paper.
