An upstate New York woman has been sentenced to more than 50 years in prison for poisoning her husband with antifreeze and trying to kill her daughter and frame her as the killer.

Stacey Castor faces 25 years to life for the murder and another 25 years for the attempt on her daughter's life. She was sentenced by Onondaga County Judge Joseph Fahey on Thursday in Syracuse.

The 41-year-old Castor was convicted of second-degree murder for poisoning her husband David at their home in Clay in August 2005.

She was also convicted of attempted second-degree murder for trying to kill Ashley Wallace, then 20, with an overdose of drugs and vodka in September 2007.
