The lawyer for a teen charged in the shooting death of his identical twin brother says three people will testify he couldn't have committed the crime.

An attorney for 18-year-old Derris Lewis has filed an alibi defense with the court ahead of Lewis' trial next month in the January 2008 shooting of his brother, Dennis.

Attorney Adam Nemann says Lewis' girlfriend, a roommate and the roommate's girlfriend will testify that Lewis was on the other side of the city when his brother was killed.

Nemann says no eyewitnesses place Derris Lewis at the crime scene.

The twins' mother says several masked men entered the house and shot Dennis after holding her at gunpoint. But Columbus police say no evidence of multiple attackers exists. They say Derris Lewis acted alone.
