Prince Harry in New Race Gaffe Involving Comic

Prince Harry was hit by a new race row last night after allegedly telling a comic he didn’t “sound like a black chap.”

He is said to have made the comment to Stephen K Amos after the black funnyman performed a stand-up show for Prince Charles’ 60th birthday last year.

Stephen told The Wright Stuff on TV’s Five yesterday that Harry, 24, congratulated him before saying: “You don’t sound like a black chap.”

As host Matthew Wright looked on stunned, Stephen added: “I wanted to say, ‘How is I supposed to sound?’”

The gaffe comes a month after Harry was forced to apologize to an Asian soldier he called a “Paki.”
