An earthquake measuring 5.8 in magnitude struck the central coast of Peru Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
Witnesses in Lima told Reuters they felt buildings shake, but there were no immediate reports of injuries or damages.
The quake struck about 110 miles south-east of Lima.
