Union County authorities say five people were taken to hospitals after a school bus collided with a truck in north Florida.

The Union County Sheriff's Office said four students on the bus and the 16-year-old driver of the truck were all transported to hospitals as a precaution after Wednesday afternoon's crash.

The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.

According to the sheriff's office, the truck rear-ended the bus, which had stopped at an intersection.
