Barack Obama may have only been sworn in as the President yesterday, but he already has a musical inspired by his campaign about to debut on stage.
This Spring, Obama On My Mind will debut at Islington’s Hen and Chickens Theater in London, according to a report in People magazine.
The show’s score is the work of American author and filmmaker Teddy Hayes and incorporates “pop, gospel, jazz and soft rock,” People said.
It will take a humorous look behind the scenes on a “small Obama campaign office and the larger than life characters who make the wheels turn, the cogs whirr and bring in the votes.”
The show will run from March 5 to March 21.
