WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. – Police have issued an Amber Alert following the abduction of two women and a 7-month-old boy.
The State of Columbia reports that officials said Eva Arce-Perez and her 7-month-old son Allim David Dietz were kidnapped around 11 p.m. Saturday. Authorities identified the third victim as 17-year-old Jamie Lynn Burgess.
West Columbia police said the three were abducted by Perez' estranged husband, David Dietz. Officials said shots were fired during the kidnapping, and police say Dietz may be armed.
Law enforcement officials are looking for two vehicles that might be connected to the kidnapping. One is a silver 2003 Ford Explorer, possibly with a side window missing, and South Carolina license tag 516 VTY. The second is a gold or brown 2002 Toyota Camry with South Carolina plate ABZ 587.
