It seems like a one in a million chance, but twin sisters from Tennesee gave birth hours apart Thursday. The sisters said they didn't plan it this way, but see it as a blessing, MyFOXMemphis reported.

Martha and Dorothy McBrayer sat side by side in a bed holding their newborns at DeSoto Baptist Hospital, saying they were surprised as anyone to have delivered on the same day.

Martha wasn't due until Jan. 11, while Dorothy was due Jan. 3. Martha gave birth first on Thursday morning.

"I actually planned to come see her and the baby and then I started having contractions back to back," Dorothy McBrayer told MyFOXMemphis.
