The lawyer of the prime suspect in the gun shooting death of actor Mark Ruffalo's brother says his client played "no role" in the crime and that it was the result of the victim's "chronic playing of Russian Roulette," the Daily News reports.

Shaha Adham, 26, surrendered Monday after Beverly Hills police issued a warrant for attempted murder. Adham, the daughter of a wealthy Saudi businessman, was reportedly present when Scott Ruffalo, 39, shot himself, when she had stopped at his Beverly Hills condo to pick up keys.

A court date for Adham has been tentatively scheduled for Wednesday.

Scott Ruffalo, a hairstylist, was found with a gunshot wound to the head in Beverly Hills on Dec. 1.

Mark Ruffalo, 41, has appeared in the films "Zodiac," "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," "You Can Count on Me" and "Blindness."
