Paula Abdul has put her Los Angeles mansion up for sale, just weeks after an obsessed fan, Paula Goodspeed, killed herself outside the "American Idol" host's home.
"Paula simply feels she has outgrown her house," a spokesman for Abdul told Us Weekly Magazine. "And given the recent public disclosure of her address, it seemed time that she move into a gated community."
Goodspeed died of a suspected drug overdose on Nov. 11 in her parked car outside Abdul's home. She had auditioned for "American Idol" two years ago.

During the Season Five auditions in 2006, Goodspeed's rendition of "Proud Mary" was roundly criticized by “Idol” judge Simon Cowell and rejected by Abdul and judge Randy Jackson.
Goodspeed’s appearance, in addition to her performance, was trashed by bloggers. On her MySpace page — which had not been updated since 2007 — she blogged about her experience:

"It's very hard reading such awful things being written about yourself," she wrote. " ... Just because I made the mistake of trying out for a singing competition before I was even ready vocally, emotionally and physically."
Late Actor's Soho Apartment Unrentable
Meanwhile, Heath Ledger's three-bedroom apartment in New York City's SoHo neighborhood has been taken off the market due to lack of interest.
The New York Post reports that nobody was willing to pay the $26,000 per month rent "most likely because of its spooky provenance and a cooling high-end rental market."
