Police are searching for two gunman who fatally shot an armored truck guard at a suburban Miami mall, and the victim's employer has offered a $20,000 reward for information on the suspects.

A Dunbar official confirmed Tuesday that 51-year-old Carlos Alvarado died in Monday morning's attack.

Authorities say the suspects fired shots while trying to rob Alvarado inside the Express store at Dadeland Mall. It's unclear whether the men took any money.

Witnesses said they heard numerous gunshots and described shoppers screaming and running through the mall, located about 15 miles southwest of downtown Miami. Another person was hurt in the shooting but their specific injury has not been released.
