Police: 14-Year-Old Girl Sprayed Bleach in Elderly Man's Eyes, Stabbed Him in Back and Chest

MILLSBORO, Del. – Delaware State Police have charged a 14-year-old Millsboro girl with attempted murder after she allegedly sprayed bleach in an elderly man's eyes, then stabbed him in the back and chest.

Police say the 78-year-old man was able to take the knife from Andeshia Satchell as she tried to stab him a third time.

According to police, the attack occurred Saturday in afternoon in the 28000 block of Layton Davis Road. Police say Satchell confronted the man as he was leaving his house.

She is also charged with weapon and assault charges.
