BURBANK, Calif. – Bassist Chi Cheng of the rock band Deftones has been involved in a serious car accident.
Deftones singer Chino Moreno says Cheng is in serious but stable condition in an intensive care unit at a hospital in northern California. Details of the accident were not disclosed except that it happened Monday night.
According to California newspaper The Sacramento Bee, Cheng is in a coma following the accident.
Moreno says the band and family members are by Cheng's side.
Deftones are probably best known for the modern-rock hits "Change (In The House of Flies)" and "Minerva."
