A Miami babysitter has been arrested after a toddler accidentally shot an 8-year-old girl.
Trevaris Brown, 18, was charged with child neglect after the Saturday night shooting, the Miami Herald reports.
Brown told police he was babysitting kids ranging in age from 1 to 10 years when "he left the children home alone and went to the store," the paper said.
During his absence, the toddler found a gun and shot the girl in the left leg, the Herald said. She is expected to make a full recovery.
Brown is free on a $7,500 bond, the paper said.
