SAN JOSE, Calif. – San Jose police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found burning inside a home where a second woman was stabbed and several children suffered smoke inhalation.
Officer Enrique Garcia, a police department spokesman, says officers arrived at the San Jose home early Tuesday after receiving reports about a woman covered in blood.
The stabbed woman and the children found at the home were hospitalized.
Police are investigating the woman's death as a homicide and searching for a suspect.
The identities of the victims have not been released.
