An Indian man who had a woman impersonate his wife in court so he could obtain a divorce had the judge fooled — until his real wife of seven years found out. Now, he finds himself still married.

The wife's lawyer says the divorce was stayed when he told the court about the trick.

Under Indian law, both husband and wife must be present in court for a divorce to be final.

Another hearing will be held in three weeks. It's unclear if the husband will face criminal charges.
