James McAvoy is a man to envy — he's just added Angelina Jolie to the list of Hollywood beauties with whom he's been paid to lock lips, along with Keira Knightley, Anne Hathaway and Christina Ricci.

That said, it turns out McAvoy was more turned on having the pulp beaten out of him by the screen siren than he was during their makeout session.

"It was much better to be bashed by Jolie," McAvoy, who plays a lame accountant-turned-action hero in the heavily charged flick "Wanted," told Pop Tarts. "The best thing in the fight scene is to be bashed and take the hit — so much better than giving someone a punch. We had so much fun; I loved it."

In her sexiest screen role to date, a super svelte Jolie plays Morgan Freeman's sidekick, Fox, whose calling in life is to kill those whose name is picked by "Fate." But it seems James isn't the only co-star who still can't stop talking about the actress.

"It's rare to find people who speak the truth in this business sometimes," said rapper/actor Common. "People say what they think you want to hear and [Jolie] wasn't that type of person. She was very creative."

Oh, and not to mention inspiring.

"I wanted to be as good as Angelina, who is in, like, my opinion an expert," added Thomas Kretschmann. "She just knows how to move and look cool and handle weapons. There is a certain sexiness involved, as well, which makes it very difficult."

Meanwhile, the pregnant-with-twins starlet has recorded a public service announcement for Friday's World Refugee Day in an emotional bid to raise awareness of the millions of refugees across the world.

Dressed in black, the U.N. goodwill ambassador outlines the many challenges refugees have survived — from war and displacement to rape, hunger and disease.

"For those who have survived and for those who did not," she said, "we are thinking of you on this day."

Leona Lewis Takes Carrie Underwood's 'Sexy' Crown

Move over, Carrie Underwood. Leona Lewis has crossed the pond to take your title as the World's Sexiest Vegetarian for 2008.

The British babe has just been voted in by thousands on the PETA Web site, beating other close contenders including Abbie Cornish, Kristen Bell and Hayden Panettiere.

But when it comes to the sexiest meat-hatin' male, Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman, Anthony Kiedis, has taken the dairy-free cake. A vegan since the 1980s, Kiedis scraped in ahead of Casey Affleck, Milo Ventimiglia and Jason Schwartzman.

Madonna Would Have Adopted 10 More Malawian Kids

Madonna has had to contend with quite a bit of controversy since adopting her 2-year-old son, David, from Malawi in 2006 — but the Queen of Pop only wishes she could have brought home more children in need.

"I went there and experienced what was going on firsthand and I just got sucked into the whole thing. Thank God I did," Madonna said. "Hopefully I’ve changed the lives of a lot of children there and it’s been an incredible growing experience for me. If I could, I would have adopted 10 more children — there’s just so many that need parents and not one more beautiful than the next."

On a lighter note, the music mogul recently told Elle magazine it is time for those Hollywood Pop Tarts to "flash something new." But when one has already paraded her privates, what could possibly be left?

"I wasn’t thinking of anything in particular," she said. "But that [crotch-baring] is such a boring subject."

Tidbit: Elton John's Love of Dolls ... and a Dog

Who knew that Elton John was a fan of our favorite bounty hunter, Duane "Dog" Chapman?

We're told Chapman attended John's sell-out concert in Sin City last weekend and received a special invitation to hang out with him in his private dressing room after the show.

The Dog and two members of his posse reportedly chilled and chatted in what was like a super-sized closet, and the controversial hunter was particularly intrigued by the hundreds of dolls decorating Elton's space.

"There was all these dolls of superstars like Cher and Bette [Midler]," our spy said. "It was one expensive collection."
