Kelsey Grammer was out of the hospital and back at his Hawaii home Wednesday, four days after suffering a mild heart attack, his publicist said.

Grammer was resting comfortably, spokesman Stan Rosenfield said. The star of "Cheers," "Frasier" and the recently canceled Fox sitcom "Back to You" lives in Kona on Hawaii's big island.

Grammer, 53, offered his thanks to those who called and wrote expressing concern, Rosenfield said in a statement.

On Saturday, Grammer was paddle-boarding with his wife, Camille, when he experienced symptoms and was taken to an area hospital in Kona. It was determined he had suffered a heart attack that Rosenfield described as "mild."

The spokesman said he was unaware of any history of heart trouble for Grammer.
