OKLAHOMA CITY – A woman accused of killing her boyfriend by running him over with a sport utility vehicle in Oklahoma City had dated him for only three months, authorities said.
Police said Terry Jones, 27, and Ronika Shalika Nelson got into an argument about 7 p.m. Friday at an apartment complex in south Oklahoma City.
As Nelson drove away, Jones threw a brick at the rear window of her SUV, Master Sgt. Gary Knight said.
The 25-year-old backed up the SUV, ran over Jones several times and then left the scene, Knight said.
Jones died at a local hospital. Officers found Nelson's vehicle that night.
Knight said Nelson surrendered to police Saturday morning and was booked into the Oklahoma County jail on a murder complaint.
