When it comes to parenting, Angelina Jolie certainly likes to maintain her privacy. After all, she stopped talking to her father Jon Voight back in 2002 when he announced that she had adopted Maddox in addition to hinting that she needed help for her "mental problems."

So it comes as no surprise that the "Kung Fu Panda" starlet was reportedly miffed at the recent Cannes Film Festival when co-star Jack Black let news about her twins slip. But Black was mum over the weekend when we asked him whether Angie was upset.

"Angelina is pregnant with pandas," he told Pop Tarts, dodging the question. "That's the real scoop."

But Jack, that wasn’t what we asked — was she upset?

Awkward silence … then a “you know” look.

But according to the film's directors John Stevenson and Mark Osborne, Jolie was, er, pretty peeved.

"No, I don't think she was OK with it [Black revealing the news]," the directors told us hesitantly at Sunday's premiere after exchanging one of those nervous glances that make you wonder how serious it really was. "She wasn't."

Meanwhile, Voight told Pop Tarts at Sunday afternoon's MTV Movie Awards that he hasn't spoken to the starlet, but you wouldn't know their relationship was rocky given how animated and "excited" he was for the babies to be born.

"She's doing good I think — I just want those babies to be healthy. It is such, such hard work raising twins — the most important thing is that mom and babies are healthy," Voight said, adding that he has hopes to visit Jolie and her juniors once they're born.

'Idol' Executive Producer: Clay Aiken Isn't the 'Settling-Down' Type

Pop prince and “American Idol” season two runner-up Clay Aiken is getting ready to take up the challenge of fatherhood — unconventionally.

Aiken reportedly impregnated his music producer and longtime pal Jaymes Foster through artificial insemination, and although the couple claims not to be in a romantic relationship, the high-profile performer still intends to take on normal fathering duties come August when the baby is due.

But no one was more surprised to hear the news than “American Idol” executive producer Nigel Lythgoe, who was out in Santa Monica on Saturday night to receive his own “Shining Spirit Award” at Share’s 55th Anniversary Boomtown Gala to raise funds for at-risk youths.

“It’s just delightful,” Lythgoe said. “But I was very surprised when I first heard, because I didn’t think Clay was the settling-down type, but then it was all explained to me. I’m very pleased for him.”

It turns out that while the world was gushing over the nuptials between Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller on Friday afternoon, a far more powerful entertainment figure was tying the knot a few hours north in California's Napa Valley.

Lythgoe confirmed to Pop Tarts on Saturday evening that he had just returned from wine country after attending the wedding of "Idol" owner, Spice Girls manager and founder of 19 Entertainment Simon Fuller.

The British-based music man tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, U.S. interior designer Natalie Swanston, in a star-studded ceremony where cost was reportedly no object.

According to Lythgoe, the night was "just amazing" and quite the "Idol" reunion with the likes of Carrie Underwood and Daughtry in attendance as well as the group he started from scratch, The Spice Girls and fellow British superstars such as Leona Lewis.

"It was great seeing everyone," a slightly fatigued but smiling Nigel added. "It was quite the party!"

10th Birthday: La Toya Jackson Makes Rare Party Appearance

Last Friday, Michael Jackson emerged from nowhere to party at Christian Audigier's birthday bash, but this weekend the attention was on his formerly estranged sister La Toya Jackson, who celebrated her 10th — yes, only her 10th birthday.

Being a Jehovah’s Witness since 1965, Jackson had only celebrated the momentous occasion until she was 10 years old, which means it had been a long time since the now 52-year-old had even blown out the candles of her own cake.

Well, it's no wonder that the onetime Playboy cover girl turned into a “little girl” when a lemon-and-cream creation (with sparklers) arrived at her VIP table at Sin City's Prive nightclub in the wee hours of Saturday morning.

"She [La Toya] jumped up on the couch with her champagne and waved her hands and yelled with excitement," an eyewitness said.

And no, she wasn't hanging with Tom Cruise, but rather with her father, Joe, brother Jackie and drag performer RuPaul.

Christina Aguilera's First Post-Baby Performance

Christina Aguilera is back ... and her first post-baby performance was "Beautiful."

Aguilera took to the mic at a private party for Stephen Webster Silver Collection at PURE nightclub in Sin City on Saturday, belting out "Beautiful" and "At Last" in her first public performance since giving birth in January.

But the night was young for the pop princess, who later hit up hotspot LAX at the Luxor Hotel with hubby Jordan Bratman and (of course) an extensive entourage. Chris still acted like a pregnant mama, sipping water only while everyone else downed the champagne, although we're told the moves she pulled on the dance floor were a little more "Dirrty" than motherly. ...

Speaking of getting down, we're told Pink had more than just a good time herself in Hollywood on Saturday night at the Le Tourment Vert absinthe party at the Green Door. According to eyewitnesses, the punk princess was going "totally crazy, smoking up a storm and yelling at the band" — all in good nature.

"She's enjoying the single life," an inside source said. "She doesn't care what anyone thinks of her; she'll do and say what she wants."

Just a couple of months ago, Pink announced that she and her motocross racer hubby Carey Hart were over and both have since been seen, well, attending their fair share of Hollywood parties.
