North Carolina State Police have issued an Amber Alert for a 3-year-old boy after the child disappeared from a Smithfield flea market Sunday afternoon.
Siraj Munir Davenport, also known as Roji, stands about 3 feet tall, 35 pounds with dark hair and brown eyes, Fox affiliate WRAL reported.
Roji was last seen wearing light blue T-shirt with a yellow truck on the front, dark blue sweat pants and Adidas tennis shoes at Brightleaf Flea Market, WRAL reported.
The boy’s mother told police she was loading groceries into her car when she looked down and noticed the boy was gone.
Bad weather forced police to call off the search Sunday evening but it resumed Monday morning, WRAL reported.
