Child Groom's Wife Fighting for Custody of Their Son

ATLANTA – A Georgia woman who has a child with the teenager she married is fighting for custody of their child.

Lisa Clark will appear in Douglas County Superior Court on Tuesday, seeking custody of their 2-year-old son.

Clark was 37 when she married her husband, now 17, in November 2005. Authorities arrested her the next day on charges of sexually molesting a minor.

She spent nine months in jail after pleading guilty to statutory rape. She was sentenced to two more years in prison after pleading guilty to aiding her teenage husband's flight out of state in February 2006.

The couple reunited after Clark was released.
