LONGVIEW, Texas – Police said they arrested 19 men during a prostitution sting in which female officers posed as prostitutes.
The men, who ranged in age from 21 to 58, were booked into the Gregg County Jail on Thursday on misdemeanor prostitution charges.
One also was charged with indecent exposure and another also was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Police said the sting was in response to complaints by merchants and residents along part of East Marshall Avenue.
