Three skydivers were arrested Tuesday for allegedly plotting to jump off a Minneapolis high-rise, according to authorities.

Police said they stopped Joseph Johnson, Eric Lunder and Byron Stuart before they actually attempted to parachute from The Falls and the Pinnacle condominium building, according to MyFOX Twin Cities.

"They had parachutes, they had walkie talkies, they had video cameras," Sgt. Jesse Garcia told the station. "They were apparently going to videotape this event."

Stuart's mother reportedly said that he was just there to watch, and has never BASE-jumped before.

BASE stands for Building, Antenna, Span, Earth; the term BASE-jump means to leap from a stationary structure like a bridge or a skyscraper.
