Making the rounds to friendly audiences, the radical-left preacher now says that any criticism of his anti-American statements are really attacks on American black churches.

REV. JEREMIAH WRIGHT: This is not an attack on Jeremiah Wright. It has nothing to do with Senator Obama. This is an attack on the black church launched by people who know nothing about the African-American religious tradition.

So let's do the math here. If you criticize Wright, you criticize black churchgoers, therefore you are a racist. How despicable is that?
But some media people have absolutely no problem with it. Enter our pal Bill Moyers. Last Friday PBS broadcast a chat between Moyers and Wright. And when old Bill got through with the reverend, he had morphed into a combination of Ozzie Nelson, Bill Cosby and Santa Claus. Who knew that the fiery preacher is really a kindly old uncle looking to take all the kids out for ice cream? Nice job exposing that, Bill Moyers.
As far as news is concerned there wasn't much. Wright says he is misunderstood. Moyers understands. Wright says his critics have devious motives. Moyers knows that all too well.
But somehow Moyers neglected to challenge Wright about his contention that the U.S. government injected AIDS into the black community in order to kill black people, or that the government imports illegal narcotics into black neighborhoods in order to incarcerate black men. Moyers also didn't confront the reverend about his belief that Al Qaeda and the U.S. government are equal partners in evil. Instead, that award-winning journalist Bill Moyers served up these cupcakes.

BILL MOYERS: Let's start with first things. When did you hear the call to ministry? How did it come?
What does the church service on Sunday morning mean in general to the black community?
What is your notion of why so many Americans seem not to want to hear the full monty?
They don't want to seem to acknowledge that a nation capable of greatness is also capable of cruelty.

We pay for that, PBS. Now, compared to Bill Moyers, Larry King water-boards his guests.
Monday Wright continued his magical mystery tour in Washington and the same old nutty stuff.

WRIGHT: Jesus said "do unto others as you would have them do unto you." You cannot do terrorism on other people and expect it never to come back on you. I said to Barack Obama last year, if you got elected, November the 5th, I'm coming after you, because you will be representing a government whose policies grind under people.

Oh, sure. That's why millions of people illegally enter the USA — to be ground under.
Now, Wright believes because the USA committed historical sins like slavery and the brutality of Native Americans, it can never claim the high moral ground on anything. Also, God is mad at us because the U.S. government commits acts of terrorism, like dropping atomic bombs on the Japanese during World War II. That's why Wright says God "damns America." We brought the 9/11 attack on ourselves. If that's the standard, no nation on earth could ever retaliate for injustice because every country on earth has done bad things.
"Talking Points" believes Wright loves the attention, and there is no question that his continued radical presence damages Barack Obama. Wright has to know that. But he doesn't seem to care, does he? Nice friend. Obama himself is upfront about the situation.

CHRIS WALLACE, "FOX NEWS SUNDAY" HOST: Do you think that Rev. Wright is just the victim here?
BARACK OBAMA: No. I think people were legitimately offended by some of the comments made by him in the past. The fact that he is my former pastor, I think, makes it a legitimate political issue. So I understand that.

Now that kind of honesty is rare in politics, and I give Obama credit. Wright has become his worst nightmare.
By the way, Bill Moyers also forget to ask Wright about the multimillion-dollar house being built for him. Obviously radical-left politics can be very good for business. In the end, Moyers and his brand-new friend Rev. Wright were very pleased with their excellent adventure.

Former NBC News military analyst Col. Ken Allard has quit the network, saying it has become too left-wing for him. For telling the truth, the colonel is a patriot.
On the pinhead front, our pals Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg. The duo is filming a video together in Amsterdam, Holland, the drug capital of Europe. Mr. Dogg even joined Nelson onstage. But they did not sing the song "I Want to Take You Higher." That is not true. They sang another song, "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes." Wait, that's false. I just made it up. Truthfully, they're both pinheads.
