A Florida man who caused a panic Monday night at Downtown Disney in Orlando, Fla., after saying his backpack contained explosives said he thinks he is the devil and that the world “deserved to die,” according to media reports.
Police were called to the Planet Hollywood gift shop in Orlando to investigate after Jason Davis, a 22-year-old former employee, asked for his job back and the manager refused, MyFOXOrlando.com reported. Davis then threw his backpack on the ground and said it contained explosives.
"I scared a lot of people but I think I did it for the better good," Davis told Florida’s Local6.com. "I think I'm the devil. I have a mindset as a devil but I mean I'm a good guy trying to make the world a better place."
Cops blew up the bag to find that it contained only Davis’ personal items. Business at Planet Hollywood and Downtown Disney returned to normal three hours later.
