The FBI says a Jamaican man arrested at Orlando's airport with pipe bomb components may have been plotting revenge for the murder of his mother.

Court documents filed Monday by prosecutors say 32-year-old Kevin Christopher Brown possibly wanted to attack two people accused of killing his mother in 2005. Prosecutors urge a federal judge not to release Brown on bail.

The documents also say Brown was fired in late 2007 from a job as a defense contractor in Iraq for making inappropriate sexual comments to a female co-worker. Brown's lawyers have said he was distraught over his mother's death.

Brown's attorneys say he should be released on bail because he's a legal U.S. resident, is an Army veteran and has no prior criminal history.
