Texas School Bus Carrying Children Flips on Side

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas – A school bus carrying elementary school students flipped onto its side after getting into an apparent accident.

Arlington school district spokeswoman Veronica Sopher told The Associated Press there did not appear to be any serious injuries in Monday's apparent crash.

News footage showed paramedics carrying children on stretchers into ambulances.

The bus was on its side on a grassy shoulder several feet from the road. Sopher did not know how many children were on board.

It was not immediately clear what caused the crash.
