Two dozen designer cakes bearing each of the 24 guests' names in edible calligraphy also were baked. Attendees dined on $45,000 in food from family friend Wolfgang Puck, surrounded by $17,000 worth of fresh flowers, In Touch Weekly reported.

Connor Cruise, Cruise's adopted son with ex-wife Nicole Kidman, shot his minor, non-speaking part in the upcoming Smith drama "Seven Pounds" over two days more than a month ago, a spokesman for Columbia Pictures confirmed Tuesday.

Cruise is mostly shown in photographs in the movie, which co-stars Rosario Dawson and is directed by "The Pursuit of Happyness" filmmaker Gabriele Muccino. The drama follows the story of a man who affects the lives of seven strangers.

Cruise and Kidman also have a 15-year-old adopted daughter, Isabella. Kidman is pregnant with her first child with hubby singer Keith Urban.
