Veterans Affairs police are searching for a man who brazenly wheeled a dolly into a veterans center, loaded up a 52-inch flat-screen television and walked out.

The television had hung in the dining room at the Clement J. Zablocki Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Milwaukee.

The center's spokesman John Zewiske says security cameras taped the man, but VA police have not identified him yet.

Zewiske says the man entered the center about 4 p.m. April 4 through an entrance that's open to the public during the day. The man went up to the ninth floor, took the television and left the building in about 15 minutes.

Resident and World War II veteran John Washington says he thought the man was taking the TV for repairs.
