Three people are credited with pulling a burning SUV off a 13-year-old girl after a rollover crash ejected her from the vehicle on the Florida Turnpike, Local 6 reports.
A family of four was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center Thursday after a tire blew out on the GMC Envoy in which they were riding. The driver lost control of the SUV and drove into the median. The SUV hit a guardrail and then overturned and caught on fire, Local 6 reports.
The unidentified girl, who is listed in critical condition, was thrown from the car and ended up underneath it.
Three people on the scene were able to lift the burning car off her and get her away from the flames.
The crash is under investigation and no charges have been filed, Local 6 reports.
