QUINCY, Fla. – The 19-year-old man authorities say helped a 12-year-old central Florida girl he met on the Internet run away from home is in police custody.
Police in the northern city of Quincy say Tiffany Tyson was found Friday at the home of James Lynch. Authorities say Linch had driven about 270 miles to pick her up at her home in Port St. John in central Florida.
Linch has been arrested on a warrant from Brevard County on a charge of interference with child custody.
Tyson was last seen leaving her home Thursday morning. Her mother found a note saying she had left with Linch.
