COLLEGE PARK, Ga. – Police are investigating the shooting death of a 14-year-old and the stabbing of a guest at his home.
The teen was identified as Quinnarius Green, who was found shot to death at his College Park-area home early Saturday morning.
Fulton County police Corporal Scott McBride says a 25-year-old man visiting the teen's home had a deep stab wound in his torso. The man, who was not identified, underwent surgery at Atlanta Medical Center after the incident.
His condition was unknown.
McBride says the boy's mother was out of town, and his 23-year-old cousin was housesitting. He says the man was a guest of the cousin.
McBride says police are trying to determine if the injuries were the result of a confrontation between Quinnarius and the man or if a third person was involved in the incident.
