Humane officials and Allegheny County Sheriff's deputies are raiding an animal sanctuary in Frazer Township.

Officials say they have filed cruelty to animals charges against the owner of Tiger Ranch, whose name is not immediately available.

Officials with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and other authorities ay there were more than 600 cats, many sick and dead, at the sanctuary. There are also dogs, horses and chickens.

Authorities say they are continuing to remove animals from the site on Friday.

The Associated Press cannot locate a listed phone number for the sanctuary.
